This ride on the Legacy Trail is more than 12 miles in length, the trail runs from just south of the City of Sarasota to Venice following the former CSX railroad corridor. Our ride is a 25 mile ride if you ride to Venice and back but for beginners you can stop and rest at any of the 15 rest areas and return to the beginning at your leisure. Get your friends together, wash off that old bike and join in the fun.
Sign up online now and print out a donation sheet. You have plenty of time to gather small donations from your friends, family and co-workers. In no time you will be able to add $500 to the HIV/AIDS work done by Trinity Charities.

The 2nd Annual HIV Community Forum... took place on Saturday,
April 26, 2008. Once again we were able to use the beautiful USF Campus Auditorium. A record number of over 100 people attended. The audience was made up of people who are HIV positive, family and friends of positive individuals and AIDS organization workers. The costs of the event were covered by Tibotic Therapeutics and Gilead Sciences. The topics covered were Nutrition, Legal Matters, Life-style, Mental Health, Medical and Fitness. This has become a workship that the community looks forward to and will be an annual commitment of Trinity.
The Calamus Foundation awards two new grants to Trinity Charities...
The Calamus Foundation awarded a second year renewal grant of $25,000 for the continuation of our Neurotransmitter Study under the program directorship of Eve Plews. Based on extremely encouraging first year progress the study and the nutritional supplements provided have improved clients mood management, reduced anxiety, reduced depression and improved the ability to sleep for those with AIDS participating in the study.
The Foundation awarded a second new $25,000 grant also under the direction of Eve Plews for the study of Vitamin D supplements as they effect HIV positive patients with chronic inflammation, bone loss due to poor digestion and absorption and abnormal immune responses.
